<\/div>\n\nJMO 20th Anniversary \u2013 Regional Day of Dance 2023 (Chester)<\/h2>\n
In 2023 the Joint Morris Organisations are running a series of regional days of dance to celebrate 20 years since the national Day of Dance in Trafalgar Square in November 2003 which was held to celebrate the exemption of \u201cmorris dancing\u201d from the Licensing Act 2003.<\/p>\n
These regional events are hosted by a collaboration of members of teams of all three morris organisations in the UK \u2013 The Morris Federation, The Morris Ring, and Open Morris.<\/p>\n
The regional event for the North West is in Chester on Sat 23rd September 2023.\u00a0 This will take the form of a walking and dancing tour of Chester between 10:00-16:00.\u00a0 Contact the organisers at: devadayofdance@vivaldi.net<\/a><\/p>\nGetting there: Chester is well served by public transport, and there are three park and ride locations with frequent services into the centre.<\/p>\n
