Meon Valley Rock’n’Roll Morris are a dance duo who were inspired by the modernising influences of “The Demon Barbers”, “The Bo Diddlers”, and “A Life With Bells On” to apply their combined 90 years of experience of over 20 different dance forms to their love of Morris Dancing.
This has resulted in a blend of Cotswold, Rock’n’Roll, Boogie-Woogie, Clog, and Jump Jive danced to a 1930s and 40s Swing soundtrack.
Our performances are always high energy, acrobatic, and entertaining whilst still being recognisably Cotswold or Clog traditions.
Meon Valley Morris brings Morris Dancing bang up to date, as long as that date is around 1946!
