Tatterfoals are a mixed team based in Scunthorpe who dance North West, Garland, and ‘Hankie’ and are named for a ‘mythical ghost like horse, said to roam the lanes of Lincolnshire!
We have danced as far away as Germany in the long lost past but now tend to stay a little closer to home! We dance at local events, days of dance and the odd festival. We have been dancing since 1984 (not continuously!) and are now on our third style of costume but have stuck with our original distinctive white aprons!
A great way to stay fit and we are always looking to welcome new members, dancers or musicians.
