Fiddlers’ Brook Morris was established in 1988 by a group of dancers from single-sex sides who wanted to dance in a mixed North-West side. Their name comes from a drainage ditch that runs through the village of Allens Green where they practice. Despite a short stay in a hall in nearby Sawbridgeworth, they returned to Allens Green. Most of their dances are North-West, some traditional and some made-up, with a couple of Border dances thrown in.
