Shinfield Shambles is a morris side dancing in the Welsh border style. We come from the village of Shinfield, on the outskirts of Reading in the Royal County of Berkshire, England.
We enjoy dancing at festivals of all descriptions and at fetes and pubs. We entertain at schools, hospitals and residential homes. We like to dance for special occasions such as weddings and special birthdays. We love to perform and will travel all over the country and even internationally, to show what we can do.
Morris dancing is one of England’s great traditions and a good way to stay fit. We have a great band which provide our traditional tunes. And it really is enormous fun!We are a friendly bunch and practise every Monday evening out of season in Shinfield Parish Hall, 8 15 pm to 9.45 pm September to May.
