A brief history of Heartsease
Started in October 1977 and still dancing – JUST! Our repertoire is varied and described as ‘Dances of England’ including several of our own. We have been to France, Germany and Netherlands to dance in various Festivals on several occasions and also in many places in England.
We do perform at local Festivals and special days in St Neots, such as New Year’s Day, May 1st morning and evening, St George’s Day etc. We celebrated being 43 years old this year (2020) and have a membership of 11 dancers and 1 musician at the moment. The Sweeps and Milkmaids dance in May and also become Hunts Molly in January for Plough Monday. They have 8 other members
